Als ich 1993 meine erste Singapura auf einer CFA-Ausstellung in Österreich sah, war es um mich geschehen. Sobald ich zuhause war begann ich, mich so gut wie möglich über diese Rasse zu informieren. Was sich als ziemlich schwierig erwies, da es im deutschsprachigen Raum kaum Züchter gab und ich auch noch keinen Internet-Anschluß besaß. Doch Dank meiner lieben Freundin Sigrid, die damals schon gute Kontakte in die USA hatte, schaffte ich es doch, mehr über diese bezaubernden Katzen zu erfahren. Schnell wurde mir klar, daß ich die Singapura züchten wollte. 1995 war es endlich soweit und ich flog nach Chicago, USA, um meine erste Singapura abzuholen (was für eine Reise!).
Mittlerweile darf ich mit einigen dieser zauberhaften Wesen mein Heim teilen und kann mir gar nicht mehr vorstellen, wie es ohne sie wäre. Mein Ziel ist, gesunde typvolle Singapuras zu züchten, die nur auf ausgesuchte Plätze vergeben werden. Durch die Seltenheit dieser Rasse ist es oft unumgänglich, mit anderen Züchter zu kooperieren. Ich darf mich glücklich schätzen, eine zweite bessere Hälfte in Monika und Klaus Jarchow (Wendenburg Cattery) gefunden zu haben. Diese Zuchtgemeinschaft hat sich wahrlich zu mehr als nur zum Wohle der Singapura entwickelt. Danke für Eure Freundschaft, Moni und Kläus'chen!
Meine Katzen werden mit viel Liebe und Verantwortung in der Wohnung aufgezogen und sehen es als selbstverständlich an, bei mir im Bett zu schlafen. Mit ihrem äußerst lieben und freundlichen Wesen nehmen sie alles und jeden in Beschlag. Aber am schönsten ist es für sie zu spielen und allerhand Schabernack zu treiben.
Meine Katzen sind CFA-registriert und werden auch auf CFA-Shows in Europa präsentiert. Ich darf stolz darauf sein, eine der ersten europäischen Singapura Grand Champions und Division-Winners mein Eigen zu nennen.

Glory schaffte es nicht nur, in nur 3 Shows ihren Grand Champion Titel zu erlangen, sie wurde während der CFA-Showsaison 2000/2001 auch 10. Beste Katze der CFA in Europa und 3. Beste Singapura der CFA.

When I saw my first Singapura in 1993 at a CFA-Show in Austria, I was hooked immediately. As soon as I arrived at home, I started to get as much information about this breed as possible, which turned out to be quite difficult since there were nearly no breeders of this breed in the German speaking area and I was not connected to the Internet at that time. But my dear friend Sigrid, who already had good contacts with the USA, helped me to learn more about these charming cats. I realized very quickly that I wanted to breed Singapuras. In 1995 the time had come to fly to Chicago, USA, to pick up my first cat (what a journey!).
In the meantime I'm allowed to share my home with several of these charming creatures, and I can not imagine how it would be without them. My aim is to breed healthy, typy Singapuras which go to special homes only. Due to the rarity of this breed, it is absolutely necessary to cooperate with other breeders. I was lucky and found my other, better half in Monika and Klaus Jarchow (Wendenburg Cattery). This partnership developed really to more than to a benefit for the Singapuras. My cats are raised in my apartment with much love and care, and they take it for granted to sleep with me in my bed. With their utmost kind and friendly character, they seize everything and everybody, but they mostly like to play and play pranks.
My cats are CFA-registered and are presented at CFA-Shows in Europe. I'm proud to own one of the first European Singapura Grand Champions and Division-Winners.
